Interface in Phoenix BIOS Editor

The software has a simple interface. This will save you from having to reinstall BIOS in the future. The application supports unpacking and replacing components in the image. It is also possible to change system settings. To customize the Windows installer, you need to select the “Advanced Features” menu item.
Phoenix BIOS Editor was not designed for module replacement, but still provides this functionality. When you first open a BIOS image, all BIOS modules will be extracted to disk in a folder located in C:\Program Files\Phoenix BIOS Editor\TEMP\ . The unpacking module can be copied from this folder, corrected and replaced. Phoenix BIOS Editor will not allow you to save BIOS unchanged, so to save BIOS we have to change some string value and then change it back (or just leave it that way). The BIOS rootkit source code and patch scripts can be downloaded from the links at the end of this article if you want to do it all yourself.
